Teradata is honored to see our innovations in artificial intelligence (AI), data platforms, and machine learning operations (MLOps) recognized in multiple 2024 ISG Buyers Guides™, formerly Ventana Research. These evaluations highlight our leadership across key areas like analytic data platforms, generative AI, and MLOps.

Leadership in analytic data platforms

In the 2024 Analytic Data Platforms Buyers Guide, ISG Research evaluated vendors on their ability to organize and manage the storage, processing, analysis, and presentation of data, enabling enterprises to operate with greater efficiency. Teradata was recognized as an overall leader among 35 vendors, outpacing competitors in areas such as product capabilities and customer experience. ISG Research emphasized Teradata’s strength in product experience, notably in reliability, due to “robust performance management, high scalability, and strong continuity.” Teradata also received a strong grade in customer experience due to our customer commitment and robust support and services.

Advancements in AI platforms and MLOps

Teradata's continued advancements in AI were highlighted in the 2024 AI Platforms, GenAI Platforms, and MLOps Buyers Guides. The AI Platforms Buyers Guide evaluates AI software platforms across a range of capabilities, including data preparation, types of modeling, AutoML, generative AI, developer and data scientist tooling, MLOps/LLMOps, advanced model optimization, and investment in developing additional capabilities. The GenAI Platforms Buyers Guide evaluates software providers that are part of the AI Platform Buyers Guide with specific generative AI support as well as those focused solely on generative AI. The MLOps Buyers Guide uses portions of the AI Platform capability framework that includes the evaluation of specific AI/ML modeling, developer and data scientist tooling, MLOps, and advanced model optimization.

ISG Research ranked Teradata as Exemplary in all three Buyers Guides. This categorization and placement represent companies that performed best in meeting overall product and customer experience requirements.

Teradata was also named a leader in manageability in all three guides, showcasing our platform's strength in being effectively managed both technologically and by business users, as well as being well-governed, secured, and supported. ISG Research noted the flexibility offered by allowing authorized personnel to enable or disable capabilities to match specific business or technological requirements.
